Official word is that The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack will clock in around two hours and forty minutes…It will include the film’s epic score from Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross and I expect that track with Karen O’s cover of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song….
Also included will be a cover version of Bryan Ferry’s Is Your Love Strong Enough? which featured Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour by How To Destroy Angels…The original song was commissioned by Ridley Scott in 1985 for his epic fantasy film Legend…After listening to the song it fits nicely within the tone of Dragon Tattoo…A few other tracks (more covers?) will also land in there as well I’m sure
I’m still beyond stunned at the level of effort and dedication of everyone involved with the film from Fincher, the cast, the crew, the writers, editors, production/set/costume designs and details put into the music…It was recently screened and it’s been stated it does live up to the hype…Here’s hoping they’re right!
Enjoying the recent magazine covers featuring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig promoting David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo… fingers-crossed Sony gets Fincher and the cast back for the two sequels….
