Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been confirmed for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained along with his role in the film. Deadline reveals that he’ll play the brother of Anthony LaPaglia (The Client, Summer of Sam, Empire Records) in film. LaPaglia will play the leader of a group slave-trading Australians who kidnap Django (Jamie Foxx) and his wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington). Selling the pair to Calvin Candie’s (DiCaprio) Candyland. It will be interesting to see Gordon-Levitt adopt an Australian accent along with playing a villain.
