I’m still on the fence with Kristen Stewart as Snow White but Rupert Sanders’ Snow White & The Huntsman looks interesting enough.. Along with it’s comparisons to a Lord of The Rings gritty style and tone…
the rest of the cast is stellar which includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Avengers, Red Dawn), Charlize Theron (Prometheus, Fury Road), Sam Claflin (Pirates 4), Noah Huntley, Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Attack The Block), Ray Winstone, Ian McShane (Deadwood), Bob Hoskins (Hook), Toby Jones (Captain America), Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, Jack The Giant Killer) and Steven Graham (Snatch, Boardwalk Empire).

Monster’s Patty Jenkins has been announced as the director of Thor 2 which is being released on November 15th 2013. So I’ve come up with a list of actors and characters I’d like to see in the sequel. There was talk of Thor literally visiting other worlds, I assume that includes the other nine realms. It was also mentioned that the cast of Asgardians would double in the second installment.
Balder The Brave - Joel Kinnaman (The Killing, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Snabba Cash 1-3, Safe House), Brunnhilde The Valkeryie - Rachael Taylor (Transformers, Darkest Hour), Karnilla The Norn Queen - Mélanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds, Beginners), Amora The Enchantress - Charlize Theron (Prometheus, Snow White & The Huntsman), Lorelei - Ruth Wilson (Luther, Jane Eyre, The Prisoner), Wanda The Scarlet Witch - Felicity Jones (Like Crazy, Tempest), Hela Goddess of Death - Eva Green (Casino Royale, Camelot, Kingdom of Heaven) and Malekith The Accursed - Benedict Cumberbatch (War Horse, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Sherlock Holmes, Hobbit).
I threw in Scarlet Witch since Jon Favreau was originally going to cast Scarlett Johansson in the role for Iron Man 2 before she ended up playing Black Widow. That means Marvel likely still owns the character not Fox. Considering she is better known for her role in the Avengers joining the team in 1965. Making her an Asgardian makes more sense than having her a mutant or human since her powers are magical based similar to Loki and Amora.

not sure how I feel about this trailer… while it shows off some of the wit in the dialog, there’s not much action… along with zero reveal of who Loki’s army is…hmmm I like how they used Nine Inch Nails though…
